Eddleman has managed Eddleman Properties, Inc and related partnerships during the development of over 7,000 home sites including five major residential communities along the 280 corridor in Shelby County, Alabama. The five communities of Meadow Brook (532 homes) Brook Highland (1,067 homes), Highland Lakes (1,938 homes), The Village at Highland Lakes (754 homes), and Chelsea Park (3,000 homes) all demonstrate the excellent design and superior quality of their developments. In addition to Douglas D. Eddleman’s development responsibilities he has also directed the community marketing, promotions, advertising and sales activities. The Eddleman communities have regularly been the city leader in the most units sold. The sales team members are annually in the top ten “new home sales” producers in Birmingham. Eddleman Properties, Inc has been recognized for preserving the beauty of the land they develop, and the company has received the Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders “Developer of the Year” Award, and the “Best All Around Community” Awards, as well as, Douglas D. Eddleman receiving the “Builder of the Year” Award. Douglas D.
